Library
Our well stocked library housed in the premises of the Indian Embassy Prague is open now. It has more than 3000 books in English which include a substantial collection on Indian History, Economy, Politics, Culture, Art, Society&Technology and International Relations and other subjects and great number of Modern Fiction.

i) Bringing out a Monograph on Tagore in English.
ii) Exhibition: “Homage to Tagore through Bengalˮ by Papia Ghoshal in cooperation with Embassy of India, Prague at Brněnské kulturní centrum, Galerie 10, Radnická 10, Brno; July 25 – August 1, 2011, Mo-Fri from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
iii) Bringing out a special issue of India Perspectives on Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore in Czech language.
iv) Screening of Indian movie “Paheliˮ on Saturday 20.8.2011, 5 p.m. at Embassy premises Czech subtitles.
v) Performance of Rajasthani Folk Dance Group at Pilsen Tourism Expo (ITEP) on October 20 & 21 at Pilsen.
vi) Screening of Bollywood Movie “Taal” at Embassy’s premises on Monday, 7 November 2011 at 5 PM with Czech Subtitles.
vii) Screening of Bollywood movie“ Gadar“ at Embassy‘s premises on Friday, 25 November 2011 at 5 PM.
viii) Bharatnatyam Dance Performance by Rasabihari Devi Dasi at Hall ‘C’ of BVV, Brno on 14 January 2012 at 1400 hrs.
ix) Bollywood Dance Performance by ‘Garam Masala’ Group at Hall ‘A” of BVV, Brno on 15 January 2012 at 1600 hrs
